This policy supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to “consumer health data” as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada SB 370, Connecticut’s consumer health data provisions and similar laws.
Consumer health data we collect
- Medication type and the medication name you enter, dose amounts, dose dates and injection sites.
- Weight, lean body mass, body fat, waist, height, sex and birth year.
- Food, protein, calories, fiber and water you log; meal photos and descriptions you submit for AI analysis (if you allow AI).
- Side effects and their severity, hunger and mood check-ins, notes.
- Strength workouts and feedback.
- Data you choose to share from Apple Health or Health Connect.

How we use it
Only to provide the features you ask for: your protein target, Muscle Shield score, reminders, charts, weekly insights, the doctor PDF report and off-ramp alerts; and, if you allow it, AI meal estimates and suggestions. We don’t use consumer health data for advertising or sell it.
Sharing
We share consumer health data only with service providers that process it on our behalf to run the app: our hosting provider, and Google Gemini for AI features you have turned on (limited to the meal photo or text, protein remaining today and symptom tags). We do not share it with anyone else unless required by law.
Consent
We collect and process consumer health data with your consent, which you give when you enter it in the app. AI processing needs a separate, explicit consent you can withdraw at any time in Profile › AI features.
Your rights
- Confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and access it (Profile › Export my data).
- Get a list of the third parties we share it with (listed above).
- Withdraw consent and delete your data (Profile › Delete my data, or email us).
- Appeal our decision on a request by replying to our response with “Appeal” in the subject. If we deny the appeal, you can contact your state Attorney General.
Send requests to support@musclekeep.net. Include the User ID shown in Profile › About so we can find your data without any personal information. We respond within 45 days.
Geofencing
We do not use geofences around health care facilities and do not collect precise location.
